Effective Date: June 1, 2026
At Superr, we believe that your digital knowledge center should be entirely your own. Your privacy and data security are core to everything we build. This Privacy Policy explains how the Superr Browser Extension interacts with your data.
1. Information We Collect (And What We Don't)
What We Do Not Collect
- No Browsing History: We do not track, log, or sell your browsing history. The extension only interacts with a web page when you explicitly click to save or highlight content.
- No Personal Data Harvesting: We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location through the extension unless you explicitly provide it to log into your Superr account.
What We Process to Function
To provide the core features of the extension, we only process data when you actively use it:
- Account Information: When you choose to log in using Google Sign-In, we collect your Google account email address, name, and profile picture URL. This is used solely to create and authenticate your Superr account.
- Saved Content: When you save a page, we collect the URL, page title, and the text content of that specific page to add it to your Superr Reading List.
- Highlights: When you use the highlighting tool, we store the specific text snippets you select, along with their location on the page, so they can be synced to your SuperrBook.
- Authentication Data: A secure token is stored locally on your browser to keep you logged into your Superr account.
2. How Your Data is Used
We use the information collected strictly to power your Superr experience:
- To sync your saved pages and highlights to your personal SuperrBook.
- To format your saved content into durable, open formats for long-term preservation.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party advertisers or data brokers. Period.
3. Google API Data Usage (Limited Use Disclosure)
The Superr extension's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We strictly use your Google authentication data to log you into your SuperrBook account. We do not use this data for advertising, nor do we transfer or sell this information to third parties.
4. Data Security & Storage
